My Motivation

Those who engage with history understand the connections between the past and the present, and can develop strategies for the future. Central is the question: how can we shape the future according to our values and ideas?

About me

My Approach

I want to inspire people to engage with history and encourage them to explore historical topics. That is why it is important to me to communicate history in a simple, clear and exciting way. I rely on sound knowledge, innovative topics and methods such as storytelling.

My Education

I studied Political Science, Medieval and Modern History, and Philosophy, and have been involved in historical-political education for many years. This continues to influence my work today: my exhibition concepts are inclusive and participatory, and in research I am interested in social history approaches.

My Focus

I research biographies and family histories and engage with mementos, correspondence and memoirs. I am interested in: Who were the people who came before us? How did they live and work? What mattered to them? What did they do to change their situation?
